NBA 2K26 Guard Wing and Big Motion Styles
We have automated the process of recording and comparing all the motion styles in the game. We are taking 4 different measurements for each Motion Style and we do them both with and without Turbo. For these tests we used 88 Speed and Agility for the Guards and Wings and used 79 Speed and 75 Agility for the Bigs.
Jogging is running without holding Turbo and Sprinting is running while holding Turbo.
- Speed - How fast does the player move at top speed in Miles Per Hour. Higher is better.
- Launch - How many seconds does it take to move 2.5 feet? Lower is better.
- Time to Running - How many seconds does it take to get to full speed? Lower is better.
- Run Full Width of Court - How many seconds does it take to run the width of the court? Lower is better.

Grade - An overall performance grade calculated using weighted performance metrics. Only the best player in each position receives an "S" grade. Weights: Turbo Full Length (24.5%), Turbo Launch (17.5%), Turbo Speed (21.0%), Turbo Time to Run (7.0%), Standard Full Length (10.5%), Standard Launch (7.5%), Standard Speed (9.0%), Standard Time to Run (3.0%).

What are motion styles in NBA 2K26?
Motion styles are the dribble-movement animation sets that control how your player jogs and sprints with the ball. Each style has different speed, launch and time-to-full-speed characteristics, so the right one can make your build feel noticeably quicker.
Do motion styles change your speed rating?
No. Motion styles don't change your attribute ratings — they change the animations, which affect how fast you reach top speed and how you move at that speed. Two builds with identical ratings can feel different with different motion styles.

How do I equip a motion style?
