Connect a Controller to Test
Release 10 shots within the green zone with timing that feels right to you. The timing must be within the green lines.
The green lines are positioned at 550 milliseconds and 750 milliseconds. There are no shots faster than 550mS and shots with speeds in the 700s or higher are generally too slow to use.
Use Bluetooth to Connect a Controller to Your Phone or a USB Cable to connect your controller to a computer.
How to Get a Jump Shot Recommended
Connect your controller via Bluetooth or USB. Press and hold the shoot button (X or Square) to start the animation, and release it to stop the animation.
Your goal is to release the button at the time that "Feels Right" to you.
Connect Your Controller via Bluetooth
Xbox Controller
- 1. Turn On Your Controller: Press the Xbox button to power on your controller.
- 2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Pairing button on the top of the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing rapidly.
- 3. Open Bluetooth Settings on Your Phone:
iOS: Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. - 4. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- 5. Locate the Controller: Look for "Xbox Wireless Controller" in the list of available devices.
- 6. Pair the Controller: Tap on "Xbox Wireless Controller" to pair it with your phone. Once connected, the Xbox button will remain lit.
PlayStation Controller
- 1. Turn On Your Controller: Press the PlayStation (PS) button to power on your controller.
- 2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Share and PS buttons simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing rapidly.
- 3. Open Bluetooth Settings on Your Phone:
iOS: Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. - 4. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- 5. Locate the Controller: Look for "Wireless Controller" in the list of available devices.
- 6. Pair the Controller: Tap on "Wireless Controller" to pair it with your phone. Once connected, the light bar will remain lit.
If you are using the tool through a computer browser you can connect your controller with a USB cable.
