2K26 Shooting Patch Update Jumpshot Green Window NERF on Fad video

Fades Patched in NBA 2K26

Patch 2.0 Shooting Update

video-transcript:
With patch 2.0 now live on NBA 2K26, we're playing an entirely new game than what we had at launch. And while there's some tweaks to be made, overall the patch gave the community what we wanted, which is a buff to steals and a nerf to rhythm shooting and fades. But for this video, we're going to focus on the fades. And after playing for a bit after the patch, the amount of people missing tempo fading threes was staggering. And if you've played the game now, you can definitely feel a noticeable and significant difference. Luckily for you guys, we tested fades pre- patch and after the patch to give you the exact difference in make percentage and green window. Looking at the chart, we can see an average make percentage of roughly 53% throughout the green window for pre- patch. And when we look at the post-patch results, the average make percentage drops to 44%. That's a 9% difference on average. And at certain timings, there's nearly a 15% drop in make percentage. When compiling all these numbers together, that equates to about a 5 to 7 millisecond reduction in green window size. And what this chart tells us is that these fades are far less forgiving and require a lot more skill to time. But with fades being nerfed, that makes Shifty Shooter less valuable as well. And as you can see, the legend level of Shifty Shooter also took a huge hit. When running the same test pre and post patch, the average make percentage throughout the green window drops 13%. With that being said, Legend Shifty Shooter is still very solid, but you have to be smarter about your shot selection. Now, that is all we have for this video, and if you found it helpful, a simple like helps support the team and the channel. Thank you all for watching. It's been Bill and I'm out later.
