Ankle Assassin

Ankle Assassin Badge Details
The Ankle Assassin badge does seem a bit random on when it decides to activate, but when it does it typically gives a pretty big advantage to the offensive player. On one hand you may experience more ankle breakers on lower difficulty modes like Park, Theater and Rec. On the other hand, you may see less ankle breakers on higher difficulty modes like Proving Grounds and Pro-Am.Tier Unlocks by Height

To test Ankle Assassin, we automated one of Koza's dribble sequences and used a modded controller to record the amount of light and heavy stuns against a defender with an 80 Per. Def. We did this on HoF difficulty and attempted the same combo 200 times, which was an escape, escape, and then a snatch back. We did this at each badge level and without the badge.
Also, we performed another test to see if having a higher Perimeter Defense rating could negate some of the effects of Ankle Assassin. We tested Ankle Assassin at the Legend level against four different levels of Perimeter Defense.
Ankle Assassin Test Results
Light Stun % :
- Legend = 31%
- HoF = 29%
- Gold = 28%
- Silver = 23.5%
- Bronze = 20%
In terms of Light Stuns, the Bronze and Silver levels provide a decent boost. Gold is the sweet spot.
Heavy Stun % :
- Legend = 4.5%
- HoF = 3.5%
- Gold = 3.5%
- Silver = 2%
- Bronze = 1.5%
As for Heavy Stuns, they are more noticeable so the percentages will be much lower. Gold is the sweet spot if you are actively trying to break a lot of ankles. Having Silver or less is still pretty effective in the Park, Theater and Rec.
Per. Def. vs Legend Ankle Assassin:
- 25 Per. Def. = 39% Any Stun
- 50 Per. Def. = 35% Any Stun
- 75 Per. Def. = 33.5% Any Stun
- 99 Per. Def. = 28% Any Stun
Weaker defenders are significantly more vulnerable to Ankle Assassin. Even at a 75 Per. Def. there isn't much improvement from a 25 Per. Def. Elite defenders with 99 Per. Def. saw far less stun percentages overall. If you find yourself getting stunned often, you may need more Per. Def. The On-Ball Menace badge had no affect on Ankle Assassin frequency.
